Hi, I'm Cate! I am an illustrator and designer currently working
out of Philadelphia. Though my academic focus was graphic design,
my passions have always revolved around fine arts and the
creative process.

 

It is my goal as a designer to bring a fine art background into a graphic space, and I typically include many analog techniques in my process. I am fascinated by iteration as a form of meditation, so collage has become a very important part of my work, either in the sketching phase or as a part of the final product.

I look for environments with a heavy focus on process and collaboration among creatives. It is my belief that the best final products are
reached when one can work with others in order to build something that is informed by many points of view.
